Malls symbolizes Filipino family today because we often bond with our families in the malls. Since our country, the Philippines is very hot, we want to chill and just hang-out inside the malls since it's cold and it's not boring plus the electricity is free. We can do many other things with our family in malls like eating and shopping. Without these malls, life will be boring. Imagine, what will do in our house? Other than eat, internet and sleep? Malls are the bonding place of families because malls are everywhere. Malls are accessible and gives our needs. That is the reason why malls are always jump packed. We often see families in malls bonding especially when it's Sunday.
