Ang aming mag-anak ay laging Masaya,
Maligaya kami nina ate at kuya.
Mahal kaming lahat ina ama’t ina,
Mayroon ba kayong ganitong pamilya?
Kahit sa paggawa’y pagod ang katawan,
Tulong ni ama ay lagging nakaabang
Suluranin ni ate ay nalulunasan,
Sa tulong ni inang lagging nakalaan.

This writing is about the trait of Filipino as being family-oriented and having close family ties. Filipinos value their relationships with their relatives even down to their third cousins. This is what a Filipino is…ready to help each member of the family, open to different things (example: giving advices or solutions to their problems) and most especially they are always there for each other, they care a lot to their families. Even grandparents live with the family as long as they want to. In other countries, grandparents are put in home of the aged, and even sons/ daughters at the age of 18 must live with their own or live independently.
