So basically, this is a commercial by Globe about how technology bridges the huge gap between our family working overseas to us here in the Philippines.
In the commercial, the mother stated: “Saan man sa mundo, gusto ko laging maabot ang mga mahal ko”. We should be thankful for technology for making this communication possible. Because of Roaming Sim Cards we can talk to our Family members who are out of the country with not much too pay. Again, This shows the how we want our family ties to be tight. This also shows how family-oriented the Filipinos are. If you see the reaction of the family when they are talking to their father who works overseas, they are really happy and excited they are. They love and miss their father so much. Even the voice of their father is like music to their ears. That is definitely a Filipino.
Roaming Sim Cards symbolizes how we really want to be with our family as much as possible. It's a great thing to make us happy, overwhelmed, fulfilled and even contented. Knowing a family member is okay is one of the things that Filipinos would love to know.
